Emergencies

Usually tuesdays are a day for catching up at the clinic unless a patient has an emergency.

A client brought their young cat in yesterday because she thought she may have hit him with the car. He was more of an outside cat, not quite feral but not quite friendly either--just scared. Basically they feed and care for the neighborhood cats.

It turns out he hadnt been hit he was just very very sick. He has had an upper respiratory infection for a few weeks but they havent been able to catch him.

I guess the moral of the story is to spay and neuter your pets. These people try to do what they can but there are so many cats in their community.
