Valentines Day Blocks

{Edit: This project is available for purchase in my etsy shop. http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheCraftafarian?ref=pr_shop_more }

These are my version of valentines day conversation blocks. I didn't want to go out and purchase wood blocks and paint but I did have plastic canvas and yarn available. All you need is one sheet of plastic canvas, I chose red so that it would blend in nicely. White and red yarn. A large yarn needle, scissors and a little bit of ribbon.
I cut the plastic canvas into 10 x 10 squares.
Cut the letters out of the canvas and began stitching the sides with white.
One finished box. Three more to go.
My cat modeling with the boxes. I didn't secure the tops (that is why one is secured with ribbon) they can be decorative or you can use it as a gift box to hide treats for your special someone.

Happy Valentines Day!!
